OSU Faculty and Staff Partners
Created as a result of President Hargis’ vision for focused service to sovereign tribal nations in Oklahoma, the Center for Sovereign Nations was launched in August 2015.
Center strategy is guided by partner input. Decisions are made collaboratively which ensures that the center connects tribal nation partners to the OSU faculty and staff so they can collaborate on meaningful projects.
We adhere to a disciplined partnership strategy to ensure qualified interest from parties authorized to act on behalf of the university and the nations. Introductions and meetings are coordinated by the center until partnership initiatives are viable.
Wearing the center symbol signifies to all partners that the wearer agrees to be accessible to students, sovereign nation partners and other faculty and staff in support of the center’s three-fold mission.
