OSU Scholarships

Scholarships at Oklahoma State University are offered at the university level, the college level, and at the departmental level. To see other non-OSU scholarships, click here.

  • University Level
    Students from all majors are considered for University scholarships.
  • College Level
    All students are eligible for scholarships within their respective colleges, based on their major and the college in which their major resides.
  • Departmental Level
    Many academic departments within academic colleges at OSU offer departmental scholarships. Some of these departments award scholarships to students whose major is housed within that specific department.

University-Wide Scholarships 

Information regarding university-wide scholarships can be found on the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid website. There are a few items of interest to note:

  • Incoming freshmen or transfer students apply for university-wide scholarships via the Admissions Application. The early opportunity scholarship deadline for fall entry term is November 1. The priority scholarship deadline for fall entry term is February 1. The absolute scholarship deadline for fall entry term is July 1.
  • Current/Continuing students should inquire about specific university-wide scholarships in the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.

College-Specific Scholarships 

There are six undergraduate academic colleges at Oklahoma State University: Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR); Arts and Sciences (CAS); Education (COE); Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT); Human Sciences (COHS); and Spears School of Business (SSB). Each of these colleges offer college-wide scholarships, and more information about these scholarships can be found at the home pages for each college.

*Note: Incoming freshmen or transfer students apply for college-wide scholarships via the Admissions Application, minus a few select scholarships in the College of Engineering, Architecture, & Technology. Consult the CEAT website for more details about these scholarships.

Departmental Scholarships 

The application process for departmental scholarships vary across academic colleges. For some colleges, application for college-wide scholarships is also application for department-specific scholarships. Please review these details, below, and contact individual departments if a separate application is needed.

  • College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR): College-wide and department-specific scholarships within CASNR use a common, online scholarship application. Applications are due by January 15 for the following academic year.
  • College of Arts and Sciences (CAS): The application for department-specific scholarships within CAS is not the same as the college-wide scholarship application. Please consult individual departments within the College of Arts and Sciences for departmental scholarship information.
  • College of Education (COE): College-wide and department-specific scholarships within COE use a common, online scholarship application. Applications are due by February 1 for the following academic year.
  • College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT): Applications are due by February 1 for the following academic year.
  • College of Human Sciences (COHS): College-wide and department-specific scholarships within COHS use a common, online scholarship application. Applications are due in December for the following academic year.
  • Spears School of Business (SSB): College-wide and department-specific scholarships within SSB use a common, online scholarship application. Applications are due on January 22 for the following academic year.

*Note: Incoming freshmen or transfer students apply for MOST department-wide scholarships via the Admissions Application, minus a few select scholarships in individual departments.
