The Cherokee Nation

The Cherokee Nation is the sovereign government of the Cherokee people. It is the largest tribal nation in the country, based in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the capital of the Cherokee Nation's 14-county reservation area.

Wyandotte Nation

The Wyandotte Nation is a federally recognized Native American Tribe headquartered in Wyandotte, Oklahoma. The Tribe has 7,150 tribal citizens nationwide.

Chickasaw Nation

The Chickasaw Nation is economically strong, culturally vibrant, and full of energetic people dedicated to the preservation of family, community, and heritage.

Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma

The Choctaw Nation is the third-largest Indian nation in the United States with a vision of “Living out the Chahta Spirit of faith, family and culture" by focusing on providing opportunities for growth and prosperity.

OSU Native American Faculty and Staff Association

The OSU Native American Faculty and Staff Association (NAFSA) gives OSU Native Americans a voice in the university community by advising the OSU administration on issues affecting Native Americans.

Brent Learned is a member of the Chyenne/Arapaho Tribes, Haa-Naa-Jaa-Ne-Doa is his Arapaho given name. He draws, paints, and sculpts the Native American in a style that speaks about his culture.

The Ferguson College of Agriculture emphasizes hands-on learning and a well-rounded student experience. The college’s award-winning faculty members are dedicated to developing students and are passionate about adding value to the total educational experience. Quapaw Nation

The Quapaw Nation is a federally recognized tribe of approximately 6,060 citizens based in Quapaw, Oklahoma. The O-Gah-Pah, or "Downstream" people, trace their ancestral homelands from what is now known as the Ohio River, west to the Mississippi River to present-day St. Louis, south across present-day Arkansas and eastern and southern Oklahoma. The Nation serves its people with health care, housing, educational scholarships, and language cultural preservation.

Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma

The Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma is a confederation of Kaskaskia, Peoria, Piankashaw, and Wea Indians united into a single tribe in 1854. The tribes which constitute The Confederated Peorias, as they were then called, originated in the lands bordering the Great Lakes and drained by the mighty Mississippi. They are Illinois or Illini Indians, descendants of those who created the great mound civilizations in the central United States two to three thousand years ago.
