Dr. Roger Montgomery, M.D.

Dr. Montgomery earned his bachelor's degree in zoology from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah and his M.D. from Harvard Medical School. He completed his residency at Boston City Hospital.
Positions and Employment:
Dr. Montgomery has practiced medicine as an ER physician, an internist, and Clinical Professor of Medicine.
PI or Co-PI:
Dr. Montgomery has served as a PI for a Native American Center for Health Research project funded by NIH/IHS, and as clinical advisor for the Cherokee Cancer Registry, funded by the National Cancer Institute.
Dr. Sohail Khan, MBPS, MPH, CIP

Dr. Khan received his training in Medicine & Surgery in 1987 from Dow Health Sciences Center, Karachi, Pakistan and his MPH in 1992 in epidemiology and biostatistics from the OUHSC College of Public Health
Positions and Employment:
Since 2005, he has served as Director of Health Research for the Cherokee Nation Health Services. Dr. Khan is an epidemiologist/biostatistician for the Cherokee Nation Health Services, Adjunct Assistant Professor at Northeastern State University College of Optometry, and Tribal Liaison/Grant Administrator for the Oklahoma Native American Research Center for Health.
PI or Co-PI:
Dr. Khan is a PI or Co-PI on the Cherokee Cancer Registry, the National Library of Medicine's Native American Information Project, and other projects funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and March of Dimes Foundation.
