Mr. Danny Wells
Executive Officer of Education for the Chickasaw Nation
C. M. Danny Wells earned his Bachelor's of Science degree and Master's of Science degree from Oklahoma State University. He taught Agricultural Education and Science/Technology in Oklahoma public schools for 27 years. He has been with the Chickasaw Nation for the last 14 years, serving as Coordinator for Adult Education and Head Start Director. He has been employed in his current position as the Executive Officer for the Chickasaw Nation for almost five years. Danny is also mayor and councilman for the town of Stratford. He is a licensed minister of the Gospel.
Mr. Neal Hawkins
Executive Director of Education/Careers for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma
Neal Hawkins earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University in 1982. He earned his Master's degree in Business Administration at Oklahoma Christian University. Neal's career included the business fields of banking and finance, glass tempering, and family owned sole proprietorships. In 1999 Neal started his career with the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma in the Johnson-O'Malley Program. In 2014, Neal became the Executive Education Director of Careers, which includes Career Development, Adult Education, College Freshman Year Initiative, Higher Education, Technology Allowance, Talent Search, STAR Student School and Activity Fund, College Clothing Allowance, Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act, and Youth Empowerment programs.
