Robert "Dale" Jackson
Executive Education Director of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma
As Executive Director of Natural Resources and Environmental Science for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma's Legal and Compliance Division, Mr. Jackson works on strengthening Tribal sovereignty and ansuring environmental regulatory monitoring and compliance. He develops sustainable practices for land and asset management.
Mr. Jackson's work supports Choctaw land owners, tribal businesses, and community members who are driving the rural economy forward. He continues to develop programs that provide food assistance to all tribal members, and he oversees conservation efforts and investments in rural communities that help provide a safe, sufficient, and rewarding life for Choctaw people.
Prior to employment with the Choctaw Nation, Mr. Jackson served as the Supervisory Resource Management Analyst for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food Safety Inspection Services (FSIS) in the Dallas District Office, responsible for all meat, poultry, and egg inspection in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and New Mexico.
Prior to that, he was the Comptroller at the Naval Hospital in Quantico, Virginia, and a Financial and Logistics Analyst for Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1) which transports the President of the United States. Dale is a proud Choctaw citizen from southeastern Oklahoma, and in addition to being a Gulf War era disabled Marine Corps veteran, he is a member of the Choctaw Nation color guard.
