Sohail Khan, MBBS, MPH, CIP
Dr. Khan received his training in medicine and surgery in 1987 from Dow Health Services Center, Karachi, Pakistan, and he earned his MPH in 1992 in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center College of Public Health.
Positions and Employment
Since 2005, he has served as Director of Health Research for the Cherokee Nation Health Service, Epidemiologist/Biostatistician for the Cherokee Nation Health Services, Adjunct Assistant Professor for Northeastern State University College of Optometry, and Tribal Liaison/Grant Administrator for the Oklahoma Native American Research Center for Health.

Publications
Dr. Khan's research publications focus on rheumatic disease, metabolic syndromes, Type 2 Diabetes among Oklahoma tribal populations, and effective collaboration between tribal nations and Indian Health Services (IHS).
